Job Summary


The Joint Intel and ISR Support Manager receives daily reports from all available approved sources and conducts detailed analysis, posts relevant updates to the Common Operating Picture (COP), manages surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, assists in mission planning, identifies risk, recommends mitigation and liaises with  US Government (USG) agencies, host nation (HN) Police and Military organizations.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Manage the entire spectrum of aerial eradication intelligence requirements to include collection, analysis, fusion, and distribution.
  • Manage the entire spectrum of the C-208 mission and intelligence operations.
  • Manage the activities of the GEOINT program and ensure accurate illicit crop cultivation estimates and Geographic Information System products support future and daily mission planning requirements.
  • Manage forward operating locations (FOL) GEOINT and Intelligence Planners to ensure standardized, coordinated, and uninterrupted support.
  • Manage intelligence cycle procedures and production schedules.
  • Ensure intelligence information from all Host Nation sources is updated on a daily basis in the Common Operating Picture (COP).
  • Perform Tasking, Production, Exploitation, and Distribution (TPED) management.
  • Perform collection management, ISR operations and mission management, and RFI process management.
  • Determine collection activities and priorities for GEOINT platforms and other imagery sources.
  • Schedule ISR platforms and coordinate with other agencies.
  • Provide input to or issue warning orders (WARORD), operations orders (OPORD) and fragmentation orders (FRAGO), conduct formal and improvisational briefings and instruction.
  • Assist in and coordinate Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield and campaign planning for aerial eradication and other support missions.
  • Assist in and coordinate, deliberate and rapid mission planning.
  • Coordinate daily with Operations Manager, Security Manager, and Aerial Eradication Advisors.
  • Maintain a close relationship and coordinate program intelligence support requirements with USG and GOC units and organizations.
  • Attend external meetings at US Embassy, Host Nation Police, Army, and Air Force headquarters as required.
  • Maintain property accountability of all DynCorp International and government owned equipment assigned.
  • Performs other qualified duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Expert knowledge of intelligence theories, techniques, hardware, software and special equipment used in the employment, operation and maintenance of ongoing and pending operations. 
  • Thorough knowledge of collection, fusion, and application of intelligence information from multiple disciplines.
  • General knowledge of airborne, airmobile platforms and specific capabilities as it pertains to intelligence operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks against competing priorities with a thorough knowledge of intelligence operations.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Certificates of graduation from military schools or civilian intelligence schools.
  • Previous experience managing a Brigade or Wing level Intelligence organization.
  • Ten (10) or more years’ demonstrated experience working in and/or managing intelligence operations and aviation collection management.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work in joint and combined operations.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for up to six (6) hours per day and sit for up to two (2) hours per day.
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
  • Ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds and on occasion heavier items.
  • May be required to lift up to thirty five (35) pounds to height of four (4) feet and be required to lift up to thirty five (35) pounds to height of seven (7) feet.
  • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sounds.
  • Ability to respond to a wide variety of operational circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure may be required.
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft, fumes or airborne particles, electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts.

Travel

  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
